AWE Mission Statement
Sensitive to the needs of our worshipping community, the AWE worship service provides an alternate Lutheran worship experience that engages God's presence in our lives, helps us enter into the mystery and awe of God, and through God's grace, return to the world transformed with energy and passion for service.
Who/When/Where?
January 15, 2012, 4:30 in the afternoon, marks the beginning of a new contemporary worship opportunity at Zion Lutheran Church, 100 West Main Street, Hummelstown, led by lay leadership and staff.
An intimate worship setting will be offered downstairs in Leatherman Hall. The intimate setting will allow time for new and strengthened relationships and connections.
These contemporary worship opportunities will draw upon a diverse set of experiences with passion for sharing the truth of the Gospel. The Gospel proclamation styles will draw from a broad and modern array of voices and perspectives.
The services will continue once a month at 4:30 p.m. (February 19, March 11 and April 1).
