For over twenty years congregational, faith and community-based organizations have provided outreach through the Hummelstown Food Pantry. The Hummelstown Food Pantry is sponsored and supported by the Hummelstown Ministerium, and is directed, supervised and managed solely by volunteers from the Hummelstown area community.

From Rt. 322 head north on South Hanover Street, past Lower Dauphin High School
At the traffic light turn left (west) onto Main Street
Travel one block and turn right onto Rosanna Street
Parking is available on Rosanna Street, the lot behind the church and on surrounding side streets.
The entrance to the Food Pantry is through the basement steps located off of Rosanna Street
Handicap access is provided from the church’s rear parking lot entrance. External ramps provide access to the church entrance where a wheelchair/motorized lift takes recipients to the basement level.

Hours of Operation:
Wednesdays (weekly) 10:00 am to 3:15 pm Thursdays (weekly) 5:00 pm to 7:15 pm

You may utilize the Food Pantry once a week.

To Receive Assistance:
You may apply for assistance during the pantry’s regular operating hours.

a. You must reside in zip code 17036 -A photo I.D. AND a postal service mailing listing the name and address such as a utility bill must be shown for EACH adult (18 and over) in the household. A Birth Certificate must be shown for each child (17 and under) in the household.
b. Your household income (includes all adults) must meet the income limits set by the Dauphin County Department of Agriculture. You will need to know the monthly income for all adults in the household.

Volunteers Make This Food Pantry Happen!
The Hummelstown Food Pantry is completely directed and managed with volunteers! There is a program director, assistant program director and many additional volunteers that help with the weekly unloading, stocking, sorting and distribution of food. Currently there are nearly 150 families registered who qualify for food assistance. We serve between 70-75 families weekly. Each month we continue to receive new applications for assistance.
