The Activities Committee of Zion was formed in May 2001. Initially part of the Evangelism Committee, the Activities Committee's mission is to promote fellowship among Zion members by planning and promoting social activities. The hope is that members will get to know one another through participation in activities of mutual interest, thus feeling a part of the church's "family of members". Activities planned during the past year included a New York Bus Trip, a winter picnic, an Easter Egg Hunt, a church picnic, and more. The Activities Committee meets once a month as part of committee night, the first Sunday of the month, usually around 5:00 p.m.  We meet in the Church parlor or at the home of one of the Committee members.
