MISSIONS COMMITTEE FORMING AT ZION – will you consider joining?
Given the exciting new ways Zion continues to grow in our understanding of mission and ministry, it is time to form a committee who will look at the local, national and international opportunities Zion could consider as mission sites and/or partners. These efforts are separate from the social ministry committee projects, and would include consideration of ELCA-sponsored trips such as LutheranHANDS, Thrivent Builds trips to such places as Guatemala and partnering with Lantern Hill in Ensanada, Mexico. If you are interested in serving on this committee, please see Deacon Roscoe or Pastor Wayne. We plan to meet on Sunday evening, November 7th. Time to be announced.
