ADVENT: HERE COMES THE FUTURE Bible Study with Pastor Wayne Wednesdays in Advent, 11:00 a.m. beginning November 30th This first season of the church year reveals God's Plans for our future. A Savior is on the way. How those plans affect our lives and how we can welcome God's approach will shape our study. Please plan to attend Wednesday mornings at 11am in the parlor.
November 30 – "Scanning the Horizon" What does the future hold? We will hear what the prophets have to say, paying close attention to Isaiah and Jeremiah.
December 7 – "Listening to God" As we venture into the future, what does God have to say to us? We'll focus on what Mary and Joseph heard and explore what we're hearing.
December 14 – "Traveling the Path" With the future comes challenges, blessings, and surprises. As Mary and Joseph made their way to Bethlehem what did they encounter? What are we facing as our future unfolds?
December 21 – "Embracing the Future" As Mary and Joseph had the opportunity to hold Christ in their arms, so do we in our hearts. The future is now. How does that change our lives? We'll discover what St. Luke and St. John tell us.
UNWRAPPING THE SCRIPTURES - TUESDAY EVENINGS IN ADVENT Beginning Tuesday, November 29th, from 6:00 - 7:15 p.m., you are invited to join us as we unwrap the Scriptures of Christmas through video, reflection and music!
