Zion once again has the opportunity to give back this holiday season to support Diakon Youth Services. Yesterday we kicked off our annual Christmas gift drive. If you weren't here, it's not too late! With more than 80 children and youth needing holiday gifts, we hope that you will consider embracing one of them and adding a gift or two to your holiday shopping. Names and gift ideas can be obtained by contacting our coordinator Skip Wachter via e-mail at skipwach@hotmail.com. There is a two-week turn-around requested on the gifts, which are to be wrapped (no bows) with the name of the child gently taped onto the gift. Wrapped gifts are requested to be dropped off at Zion by Sunday, December 11th. Please help us bring the joys of the season to underprivileged children right here in our neighborhoods!
